Notice of Surcharge Implemented - FIFA 2026
Please note that significant traffic congestion and operational delays are expected in the Greater Toronto Area during the FIFA World Cup games scheduled for summer 2026. As the games will run through June 11th, 2026 to July 19th, 2026, these impacts will affect all domestic movements (Less-than-Truckload and Full Load). Due to the extraordinary and city-wide traffic restrictions associated with FIFA World Cup events, a temporary Congestion Surcharge will be applied to all shipments moving within, into, or out of the affected Postal Codes outlined below. This surcharge is necessary to offset the substantial operational impacts caused by:
• Extended travel times
• Mandatory detours and road closures
• Increased driver wait time
• Reduced access to key shipping corridors
