As Toronto prepares to host FIFA World Cup matches this summer, significant traffic disruptions, road closures, restricted access zones, and traffic diversions are expected throughout Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

These conditions will impact transportation operations and are expected to result in extended travel times, route deviations, increased driver wait times, and reduced access to customer locations.

To help offset these extraordinary operating costs, APPS Cargo will implement a temporary FIFA Congestion Surcharge for shipments requiring pickup or delivery within affected GTA areas.

The surcharge will be effective from June 11, 2026 through July 20, 2026 and will apply to shipments moving within, into, or out of designated postal codes impacted by FIFA-related traffic restrictions.

The following temporary FIFA Congestion Surcharges will apply to shipments requiring pickup or delivery within the following postal code areas between June 11, 2026 and July 20, 2026:
