APPS Transport Group is seeking an experienced Director of Sales with a strong background in the transportation industry, particularly in the LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) sector. The successful candidate will lead and grow our sales team, develop and execute sales strategies, and drive revenue growth by expanding new business opportunities and strengthening customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with APPS Transport Group’s objectives.
• Lead, coach, and manage the sales team to achieve performance goals.
• Drive new business development and expand existing accounts.
• Oversee sales activities including prospecting, negotiations, and closing deals.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to executive leadership.
• Stay current with industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.

Qualifications:

• 8–10 years of progressive sales experience in the transportation industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven expertise in LTL sales and account management.
• Direct experience in regional cartage, Canadian intermodal operations, and brokerage/non-asset logistics solutions.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Require Post Secondary Degree
