Dock Workers

APPS Transport Group is comprised of specialized business units with services that can be delivered independently or integrated to provide single source transportation and supply chain solutions to our customers. We are looking for Dock Workers with at least one year of warehouse/terminal experience with a trucking company. This position will report to the Dock Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Load and unload trucks and trailers in a safe and efficient manner, locating freight in designated areas for reshipping
Load freight to provide safe transport without damage and to allow safe unloading by the consignee
Safety of personnel and of goods moved and transported is a priority for all dock workers

Qualifications

Valid forklift license
At least one year of warehouse/terminal experience with solid knowledge in the safe operation of a forklift
Must be experienced in loading and unloading trucks using a forklift
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
Ability to sit, bend, stand, and lift up to 75 lbs. in all types of weather conditions
Ability to work under pressure to meet tight loading and unloading schedules in a safe and efficient manner
